I learnt how much the maori party is nice and they are trying to make the people agree with them and make it fair but they all are trying to do that but if I could vote Ill vote for the maori party. The reason is because they also give free dental and medical checks for under eighteen year olds and they need it because people over that age should be able to afford it or if they want a free check for over eighteens they should know how important it is to get checks and that is really cool.
I am a Year 7 student at Tamaki Primary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Miss Kyla.

Technology
Today at technology I have learnt more about tools and how to work with the and what is the name of the tools. I have learnt that the saw that he has he sharpens it every day and the handle is going up, when you hold it you have to put your pinkie under the saw handle. The reason why you have to do that is because if the saw is not straight then you have to push down on it hard and it won't cut through. He did a demonstration of it and a boy named Siosifa was trying to push on the saw and it wouldn't cut and Sifa was pushing on it and the table was moving and the saw still wasn't cutting through. I thought that the table was light but then I was pushing on it and it wouldn't even move.
The other tool I was learning about was called a chisel. A chisel is something that you can use to smash things off with or you can just use for carving things. The chisel is very dangerous because it is sharp and at the end is ramp shaped. When you are walking around with it you have to be careful because if you walk around with it you could stab somebody and then they will get injured and that's not good because their injury and the bloody mess. So you will have to put your thumb on the top of the ramp shaped end of the chisel and when you smash into somebody they will get smashed by your thumb and not the chisel.
The other tool we were going to use was a hammer. The hammer is obviously dangerous cause if somebody is playing with it then they could smack it into somebody's head or other body part and they could die or be crying because the head of the hammer can be un attached

Technology
Today at technology my group was in the hard materials group and we were creating our own things using wood. I thought that it would be easy but then I found out that he said we had to come up with something he has never seen to get a better grade. But then we looked around and saw that what we think of he already made by him or another student, I thought of making a robot but then I thought it would take way to long to make it in the period of time that we had.
So then I came up with different ideas for cars or something but I made it to hard to make or not possible because we had to start of with one platform with a cube cut shape and then a piece of wood that fits inside of it. I remembered the robot that I was thinking of and tried to make it more simple but still had a useful purpose, not a robot that just sits there and is broken because he will throw it in the rubbish if you can´t find a purpose for it.
So then I came up with two robots, the first one had small arms and small legs with a small head and the useful thing about it was that it can be played with it had would have had wheels on its back and legs so you can lie it down and it has a cover that was a car then you could have attached it then it would be a car. The other robot had big arms and legs it had wheels were the arms goes so that it could move its arms and there was a cube sized whole that you could put toys there and play with it and it was bigger than the first robot. But I still haven't created anything yet so I don´t know what I was going to make.
The rules was that the stools have four legs for a reason and if you lean on it Mister Grundy the teacher would take it away before you slip of your chair and smash your head on the other tables. The other rule was that you can´t fidget because somebody could be running with a tool then they could slam it into you because Mr G sharpens all the tools. Stay put because if everybody is moving around somebody could fall over and hurt themselves, The other one was that you had to go before you come because there is no bathrooms.

My favourite one was manuka because it tasted strong and plus nobody else was eating it but if you savoured it then it will taste gross so I swallowed it straight away and it was nice but my friends all thought that it was not nice.
